Bronfman was also convicted for her role in the sex cult. She is trying to appeal her sentence. Raniere’s attorneys said Tuesday they didn’t get enough time to cross-examine witnesses.

Bolton Landing Man Accused Of Shooting Out Businesses’ Windows In Colonie
A Bolton Landing man is accused of driving to Colonie and shooting several businesses. According to WNYT, police believe the young man was randomly picking out storefront windows and using them as his own personal shooting gallery. The suspect is identified as 23-year-old Christopher Huck. He’s being held at the Albany County Jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for later this week when he will face at least 7-felony charges.
Bounced Checks Prompt Gaffney’s Shut Down
Gaffney’s Bar & Restaurant in Saratoga has been ordered shut down by City Hall for the time being. According to WNYT, the shutdown was ordered after two checks bounced. One was for the fire inspection, and the other was for the bar’s eating, drinking and cabaret license. The checks totaled $435. No word on when the place can reopen.
Report: Stabbing At Gaffney’s Early Sunday
Saratoga’s Commissioner of Public Safety, Jim Montagnino says there was a stabbing at Gaffney’s in Saratoga Springs early Sunday morning. WNYT reports He says the incident happened at 2:20 A.M. The fight began between two groups of people inside, and then ended outside. The victim was transported to Albany Med, with non-life threatening injuries, and several were charged with disorderly conduct.
Union College Student Forced To Leave Over Lack Of COVID Booster Shot
A Union College student is claiming that she was expelled from campus after refusing to get her COVID booster shot. According to WRGB, the student, Diamond “Ellie” Puentes, said that she provided letters from her doctor stating that the vaccine would cause adverse medical effects. The school says federal privacy laws prohibit the college from disclosing any information about an individual student’s medical records.
New Flights Starting Out Of Albany International Airport

Report: Skidmore College Student May Have Been Drugged At Bar
An investigation is underway after Skidmore College says one of its students may have been drugged early Sunday morning in Saratoga Springs. According to WNYT, the situation unfolded at a bar on Maple Avenue, where a student reported feeling ill effects of possible drugging. Two other people who were also at the same bar said they had a similar feeling. They were not Skidmore students.
