State police still seeking man who robbed two women

State Police are still looking for a suspect who robbed two people at the Extra Mart Mobile Gas station on Route 9N in Lake George a week ago. Two people were pumping gas, when they were approached by a person wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing on it and a ski mask, demanding their purses. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact State Police SP Queensbury at 518-457-6811

Man confess to murder 2 years after it occurred

A Clifton Park man was sentenced to 25 years to life after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter. Timmoure Miller, 20, was indicted in October 2023 and pleaded guilty in October 2024 to his involvement in the shooting death of 47-year-old barber Tyrone Staley. Miller was indicted on six counts including second-degree murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree hindering prosecution.

Saratoga Springs approved budget

The Saratoga Springs City Council approved the 2025 proposed budget totaling $62.6 million. This budget increased 2.12% from the 2024 budget with no property tax increase. 58% of the general fund budget will go toward the Department of Public Safety, 20% will go to the Department of Public Works, and the remaining 22% will go to the rest of the departments.

Milton Man Rejects Plea Deal In Elvis Impersonator Death Case

A Milton man accused of causing the death of a Ticonderoga man known for his Elvis impersonation in April rejected a plea deal from the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office this week. The Daily Gazette reports, according to Ronald Rayher’s attorney Kevin O’Brien, the deal, which was offered Monday, was for 3 1/3 to 10 years in prison for both the second-degree manslaughter and tampering with physical evidence charges Rayher was indicted on in September.

Saratoga Public Works Commissioner Suspended For Five Days

Saratoga Springs interim Public Works Commissioner Hank Kuczynski has suspended Deputy DPW Commissioner Joe O’Neill for five workdays without pay after Kuczynski said O’Neill violated the city’s ethics code. According to the Daily Gazette, O’Neill, 52, pleaded not guilty to the charge and the case was adjourned because the Saratoga County assistant district attorney handling the case was unable to attend court Thursday morning.

Company CEO To Make Bid For Stefanik Seat

Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino has announced a bid for the 21st Congressional District. The Daily Gazette reports the Amsterdam entrepreneur is all in on replacing U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik following a week-plus-long period of flirting with a bid. The high-ranking Republican incumbent is expected to vacate the seat to serve as United Nations ambassador in the upcoming Donald Trump administration.

Warrensburg Sex Offender Charged With Failing To Report Address Change

A Warrensburg sex offender is accused of not reporting his address change. WNYT reports 56 year old
Patrick Flynn had moved and did not report his new residence, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation began in October and Flynn was charged on Nov. 18. Flynn was released with an appearance ticket and is due in Warrensburg Town Court at a later date.

GlobalFoundries To Recieve $1.5 Billion For Expansion, Construction

GlobalFoundries, a semiconductor company, will be receiving $1.5 billion dollars from the federal Government to expand its current facility and build a brand-new chip manufacturing plant at its Capital region location. WTEN reports here in New York, it’s expected to create 1,000 manufacturing jobs and 8,000 construction jobs.

Ballston Lake Man Facing Sex Abuse, Asssault Charges

A Ballston Lake man has been indicted on 30 counts, including sexual abuse and assault. According to WNYT, 23 year old Dillon M. Buono was arraigned in Saratoga County Court on Wednesday in connection with multiple incidents that prosecutors said occurred from February through September of this year.
