Northumberland Man Sentenced To Six Years For Child Sex Assault

A Northumberland man, who was arrested after fleeing New York for sexually assaulting a child multiple times, was sentenced on Monday. WTEN reports State Police traveled to South Carolina in June to arrest Siatar Creech. The 38-year old didn’t appear in Saratoga County Court after being arrested and charged in Fall 2022 for raping a child.

Wilton Man Charged With Trying To Strangle Victim

A Wilton man has been arrested again after a disturbance at Louden Oaks Mobile Home Park. Jesse Klingbeil tried to strangle someone who has a protective order against him, reports WNYT. Klingbeil was previously arrested November 17 for allegedly throwing a phone at someone and damaging someone’s windshield.

Area Elementary School Teacher Accused Of Having A Gun Without A License

An elementary school teacher in the Ballston Spa Central School District is accused of having a gun without a license. WNYT reports 42 year old Heather Cianfarani of Charlton was arrested Nov. 26 during a domestic incident. The district confirmed on Monday that Cianfarani is an elementary school teacher at Wood Road in Ballston Spa, and that she’s been placed on paid leave.

Corinth Dollar Store Worker Charged With Grand Larceny

A Dollar General employee in Corinth is accused of stealing more than $3,000 in merchandise. WNYT reports 49 year old Keith Berard is accused of stealing items in October. Berard was arrested on Nov. 26 and charged with grand larceny. He was released to pretrial services.

Glens Falls Symphony To Present Holiday Pops Show

The Glens Falls Symphony is gearing up for the holiday season with the traditional Holiday Pops show. WTEN reports the Saratoga Springs Youth Ballet will perform selections from “The Nutcracker,” accompanied by choral singers from South Glens Falls, Warrensburg, and other Capital Region high schools.
Holiday Pops is Sunday, December 8, at 4 p.m. in the Glens Falls High School Auditorium.

Halfmoon Man Charged In Shots Fired Case

A Halfmoon man is charged in a shots fired investigation. Scott Fredette is facing reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon counts. Police say he fired a gun last Tuesday inside a home on Manchester Drive with others inside. Fredette was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and released on his own recognizance.

Menacing, Weapons Charges Face Galway Woman

A Galway woman is facing weapons charges. WNYT reports 39 year old Stephanie Blair threatened someone on West Street with a weapon. She was released and is due in Galway Town Court on charges of criminal possession of a firearm and menacing.

Young Suspect Facing Gun Charges

A young suspect in Saratoga County is charged with weapons possession. WNYT reports the sheriff’s office was called to Jennifer Drive in Moreau for a report of several people with dark clothing and masks who were entering parked cars. A suspect was found and arrested after a brief foot chase, investigators said. The suspect allegedly had a loaded and defaced pistol that was stolen.

Owner of Prime Capital Ventures charged with wire fraud

Kris Roglieri, of Queensbury, owner of Prime Capital Ventures is charged with wire fraud. He allegedly took a $5 million payment from a Minnesota company for securing business loans. Instead, prosecutors say he used nearly $1 million of that money to pay another client, spent $84,000 for a Rolex and $101,000 for round-trip private air travel to Anguilla for a family vacation.
