Ballston Spa Woman Charged With Stealing From Walmart
A Ballston Spa woman is accused of stealing more than a thousand dollars’ worth of merchandise from Walmart. According to WNYT, 39 year old Ashley N. McNab allegedly took the merchandise on Jan. 16 from the Wilton store. McNab was charged with grand larceny. She was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
Saratoga Spa State Park Pool Makeover
The Peerless Pool complex at Saratoga Spa State Park will receive a $3.6 million makeover, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation announced on Wednesday. According to WTEN, the renovation project will focus on the complex’s “kiddie pool” area, adding new amenities and updating old ones.
Fare Changes For CDTA In Warren County Starting In April
Warren County riders of Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) buses will see price changes starting April 1. WTEN reports riders can expect a cash fare of $1.50 for a regular ride, $0.75 for half base fare, $2.50 for paratransit, and $1.50 for the summer trolley.
Ballston Spa Man Charged With Selling Cocaine
A Ballston Spa man has been arrested on drug charges. According to WNYT, 34 year old Steven M. Shelley, is accused of possessing and selling cocaine. Shelley was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
Parents Face New Charges In 3 Year Old Corinth Girl’s Death
The parents connected to the death of a 3-year-old girl are facing new charges. WNYT reports
Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Samantha E. Dylewski and 33-year-old Matthew J. Dylewski are now charged with four counts each of criminal contempt. The pair is accused of violating a court order of protection that prevents them from being with their children. Their 3-year-old daughter Joycelynn Dylewski died on February 19.
Lake George Winter Carnival Extended
Due to the popularity of recent editions of the Lake George Winter Carnival, the event’s organizers are extending the frigid festival for an encore weekend of Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2. The Carnival features the lumberjack skills competition “Chillin’ and Choppin’ at the Lake” on both days, with men and women participants: professional competitors on Saturday and amateurs on Sunday.

Wilton Woman Charged With Punching Person, Biting Deputy’s Hand
A Wilton woman is accused of punching a person and biting a deputy’s hand. According to WNYT, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Timberland Drive in the town of Wilton just after 7 p.m. on Sunday for a domestic incident. Maizie G. McCormick, 32, allegedly violated an order of protection. She’s charged with criminal contempt, assault, criminal mischief and harassment. She was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Wilton Town Court.
