Missing Clifton Park Girl Found

A Clifton Park girl missing since Thursday has been found safe, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said. Rylee Pulver, 14, was found unharmed Monday afternoon in New York City after authorities received tips on her possible whereabouts. Police provided no further information on where and how she was located.

Saratoga Man Charged With Animal Cruelty

A Saratoga Springs man faces an animal cruelty charge. WRGB reports deli owner Anthony Gargano is accused of taking a cat, which had frequented his deli, to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter and dropping it off when the place was closed. The cat’s owner fears the animal may have fled into some nearby woods and hasn’t been seen since early this month.

Milton Man Charged With Criminal Contempt

A Milton man has been arrested following a trespassing investigation, according to police. William Apholz, 41, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt. WTEN reports Apholz is accused of violating an order of protection by being close in proximity to the person for whom the order was issued. He was also found to have an unrelated warrant for failing to appear in court to answer for alleged drug charges

Man Faces Charges After Alleged Saratoga Springs Stewart’s Break In

A man is under arrest after allegedly breaking into a Saratoga Springs Stewart’s. A burglar alarm went off at the Broadway and Circular Street shop around 1:30 Sunday morning, reports WNYT. Police say they found the suspect, 45 year old Stephen Parker nearby a short time later. He’s charged with burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny.

Search On For Missing Clifton Park Teen

Police are looking for a 14-year-old girl they say was last seen on Wednesday. WRGB reports Rylee Pulver was reported missing from Clifton Park, reportedly wearing a black sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and brown boots.
She is described as a white female, 5’04”, 180 lbs., with black hair and blue eyes.

No Outside Alcohol For Belmont Stakes

When the Belmont Stakes runs at Saratoga this year, Belmont ground rules will appley. WRGB reports this means that alcoholic beverages can not be brought inside the venue, including in coolers. Fans can still bring coolers full of food and drinks, but no alcohol. That policy is only in place for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, and it will not effect the 40-day Saratoga summer meet starting on July 11, according to NYRA.

Malta Man Charged With Sending Indecent Material To Minor

A Malta man is accused of sending indecent material to a minor. According to WNYT, 36 year old Frank C. Evans Jr. allegedly was having inappropriate contact with a person he believed to be a minor and distributed indecent material to the person.
The investigation began on Dec. 24. Evans was arrested on Wednesday in Saratoga Springs.

Belmont Stakes Tix Go On Sale February 15th

Tickets for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga Race Course will go on sale Thursday, February 15 at 10 a.m. Eastern, according to NYRA. WNYT reports the four-day festival moved to Saratoga Race Course this year, due to a half-billion dollar renovation at Belmont Park. Daily capacity at Saratoga is 50,000 fans – the same as Belmont Park.

NYRA Announcees Belmont Stakes Racing Festival Details

The New York Racing Association released the stakes schedule for the 2024 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival.
WRGB reports the festival is being held at Saratoga Race Course for the first time in its history, and will run from Thursday, June 6, through Sunday, June 9. The festival includes 23 stakes races, including the 156th edition of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 8, and purses totaling $10.1 million.

Amsterdam Woman Charged With DWI After Snowplow Crash In Milton

An Amsterdam woman is facing DWI charges after running a stop sign and crashing with a snowplow, reports WNYT. Police say Nicole Deyo hit the plow truck just after 9 p.m. Tuesday on Galway Road at the intersection with Middle Line Road in Milton. Deyo tried to drive away and her car rolled over, sheriff’s deputies said.
