The co-founder of Saratoga Black Lives Matter has been found not guilty in connection with his alleged disruption of a city meeting. WNYT reports Alexis A. Figuereo was acquitted of disorderly conduct. This was in connection with an April 4 Saratoga Springs City Council meeting . Figuereo has said he planned to sue the city.

SPAC Announces NYCB Schedule
Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) announced its 2025 New York City Ballet (NYCB) season will run from July 9 to July 12. This year marks the 59th season of NYCB at Saratoga. This season features the full-length story ballet “Coppélia,” “The Four Seasons,” “Stravinsky Violin Concerto,” and “Mystic Familiar.”
Tickets will be available for members beginning on January 30 at 10 a.m. The general public can buy tickets starting on February 7 at 10 a.m.
Person Rescued After Falling Through Ice On Lake George
One adult was rescued after falling through the ice at Lake George on Saturday, reports WTEN. The call came in at 12:25 p.m. There were three adults ice skating when one person fell through about 300 feet from the shore. It happened near 3738 Lake Shore Drive in Diamond Point. 50 rescuers were on the scene. The person was rescued by being put on a floating sled and pulled back to shore.
Earlier Bars Closing Times Discussed In Saratoga
The city of Saratoga Springs is considering some changes that could impact nightlife there. WNYT reports officials are talking again about earlier closing times for bars. During the meeting, the city discussed the idea of bars closing earlier. Because state law only allows the State Liquor Authority to close bars earlier on a countywide basis, the issue will need county support.
Three Arrests In Clifton Park Grand Larceny Case
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old Lashea M. Pettway of Schenectady, 34 year old Jessie R. Gabrie of Schenectady, and 45 year old Christin M. McGrath of Selkirk, on several larceny and fraud charges following a larceny call at the Capital District DDSO facility on 902 Main Street in Clifton Park. All three are charged with stealing debit card information from people.
Man Charged With DWI, Drug Counts In Clifton Park Crash
A man was arrested on DWI and drug charges Sunday after crash in Clifton Park, reports the Daily Gazette. 45 year old John V. Reinhart of Melrose was arrested on charges of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated, in connection with an incident just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 146 Clifton Park.
Fundraiser Held For Waterford Fire Victims
A fundraiser was held on Thursday to support the victims of a December fire in Waterford. The Cohoes Waterford Elks Lodge served pancakes and sausages at their location on North Mohawk Street in Cohoes. WTEN reports the fire took place on Dec. 4 at a three-story building on Broad Street. One person was killed, and six others were hurt, including a 3-year-old girl.

Empire State University Launches Spanish Language Online Degree Program
Empire State University recently announced the launch of SUNY’s first Spanish-language online degree program – a bachelor of business administration. WNYT reports the online undergraduate program is taught entirely in Spanish, according to the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.
Michael Feinstein To Perform In Saratoga
Michael Feinstein is heading to Universal Preservation Hall (UPH) in Saratoga Springs in April. The five-time Grammy-nominated singer will perform a tribute concert to Tony Bennett. WTEN reports the performance, which will take place at 7:30 p.m., and Feinstein’s vocals will be supported by the Carnegie Hall Ensemble.
