Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library Unveils Sensory Room

The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library has unveiled its new sensory room during a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday. It’s believed to be just the second such space in a public library in New York State. The Daily Gazette reports sensory rooms are designed to be a comforting space for those who have sensory processing difficulties, as a way to provide a safe space for those with neurodivergent disorders like autism.
