The 56th annual P.O.W./M.I.A. ceremony atop Prospect Mountain is to occur at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 1 in Lake George, and all are invited to participate. Sun Community News reports each year, this ceremony — honoring U.S. soldiers missing in action and held as prisoners of war — draws dozens of veterans and several former P.O.W.s, as well as many military and civilian officials.
