Two Glens Falls 19-year-olds were killed in a shooting in Fort Ann Thursday and a suspect is in custody, New York State Police said Friday. Killed in the shooting were Adam M. Darrah, 19, and Marcus J. Macaulay, 19, both of Glens Falls, police said. In custody and charged in the killings is David M. Larose, 20, of Albany. Larose now faces two counts of second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. said.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a recall of cucumbers linked to a salmonella outbreak that sickened people in 15 states, including New York. Health officials did not specify where in New York the cucumbers were sold or consumed. None had died as of Thursday afternoon, the agency said.
