The trade war and the war of words between leaders of the two US and Canada is having an impact on the tourism economy of Lake George. WNYT reports fewer Canadian visitors came in January, February and March and fewer have shown interest, according to the Lake George Chamber of Commerce. There was a 40% decrease in visitors to the chamber’s website, according to President Gina Mintzer.
