The head of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Deputy Police Benevolent Association has announced he will run against current Undersheriff Jeff Brown in a bid to replace Sheriff Michael Zurlo who will not seek another term this year. According to the Daily Gazette, Ryan Mahan, a Republican, announced via email his plans to seek both the Democratic and Republican Party ballot lines.
