Clifton Park Planning Board Denies Subdivision Plans

A proposed subdivision that has stirred controversy for months in the rural western portion of Clifton Park was voted down Tuesday over concerns the project would interfere with farming operations of a neighboring orchard.
According to the Daily Gazette, the town’s Planning Board, in a 4-2 vote, denied plans to subdivide 50 acres of a 100-acre parcel at 68 Droms Road into 23 parcels to build single family homes brought forward by developer Erik Kohler Homes LLC.
