Estate Of Man Killed In Saratoga County Sheriff’s Raid Sues

The estate of a man killed during the execution of a search warrant last summer by Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies is also suing the department and several named deputies for use of excessive force in violations of the Fourth and 14th amendments of the U.S. Constitution. The Daily Gazette reports the lawsuit was filed by James Knox of Hacker Murphy LLP, who is representing Amber Gaccione, the administrator of Anthony J. Zaremski’s estate. Knox is also the attorney representing Zaremski’s girlfriend, Kyla Brothers, in her lawsuit against the department for the use of excessive force.
