The Saratoga County Sheriff’s office arrested Joseph J. Samascott, 48, of Greenfield on several accounts of possessing assault weapons and large capacity ammunition-feeding devices. WNYT reports this follows an incident on March 24, which Samascott called police for making threats of self-harm and engaging in a shoot-out with law enforcement, and was later taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
