Judge Jim Murphy, the Saratoga County Court judge for the past 9 years, and county district attorney for 25 years before that, is apparently leaving public service. WNYT reports a news conference has been scheduled for Thursday by Murphy’s court attorney, Adele Kurtz. Kurtz is expected to announce that she’s running to succeed her current boss when his term expires at the end of 2024.
