Monahan’s Lawyers Don’t Want Gillis Called ‘Victim’ At Trial

The attorneys for the man accused of shooting and killing Schuylerville resident Kaylin Gillis, after the vehicle she was in took a wrong turn into his driveway in April, are continuing their efforts to bar the use of the words “victim” or “perpetrator” at trial. Kevin Monahan’s attorneys argue that those words give the impression that a crime has been committed, reports WNYT.
