According to WNYT, The 15-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen at an apartment building on Charles Street.
The boy was rushed to Glens Falls Hospital – and not to Albany Med. Albany Med is the closest trauma center. Sources tell Mulholland it may be because the boy wasn’t stable enough to go to Albany.
According to a law enforcement source, Washington County Sheriff’s investigators are interviewing other children who were there at the time of the shooting.
Washington County District Attorney Tony Jordan confirmed Wednesday night that police sought search warrants for the building where the shooting took place, which is just off busy Route 4.
