On July 6, 2023, State Police of Latham arrested Jeffrey R. Bishop, 31, of Saratoga Springs, for four counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument and Grand Larceny. An investigation determined in May 2023 Bishop possessed multiple fraudulent checks named to him and cashed them at financial institutions in Colonie, Guilderland, and Bethlehem, NY. These crimes resulted in the theft of over $8,000.
