Lawyer Urges Charges To Be Dropped In Saratoga Shoot Out Case

An off-duty Vermont sheriff’s deputy allegedly involved in an early morning Saratoga Springs shootout in November is pushing to dismiss the case, in part, on the basis of procedural misconduct. The Daily Gazette reports defense lawyer Gregory Teresi claims that Saratoga County Assistant District Attorney Alan Premba rushed the case by failing to provide proper instructions and adequate evidence to support the eight-count indictment of his client Vito Caselnova back in March.
