Saratoga Mayor Ron Kim announced a planned move on where homeless shelters can be placed in the Spa City. WRGB reports Kim has asked the Saratoga Springs City Planning Board and Saratoga County Planning Board to review and offer feedback on a proposed 1,000 foot buffer between homeless shelters and schools. Some are concerned about the impact the shelter could have on student safety.
