Waterford-Halfmoon Union Free School District voters approved a $23.4 million budget for the 2023-2024 school year. The Daily Gazette reports the budget passed by a vote of 107 in-favor to 34 opposed. Voters also approved a budget proposition to establish a bus reserve fund by a vote of 102 to 36. John Catanzarita, David Lee and Jamie Maloney were elected to the three open Board of Education seats.
