The man accused of shooting and killing Kaylin Gillis of Schuylerville, Kevin Monahan, will be in Warren County Supreme Court this Thursday. He’ll be in court for a writ of habeas corpus hearing. That’s a hearing in which someone held in custody challenges why they’re being held in jail. WNYT reports Monahan’s attorney Kurt Mausert argued in that bail hearing the judge should have allowed Monahan to post bail and that remanding him is unwarranted.
