State Of Emergency In Effect Due To Storm

Governor Kathy Hochul issued a state of emergency as of 8:00 PM, Monday. Hochul says that she is anticipating wide spread power outages and is asking New Yorkers to stay off the roads. WRGB reports accumulations will be high across the whole region, but the highest amounts will be across the mountains.
Expect around 8″-12″ in the Capital Region, and most of the high terrain will pick up a foot or more with some areas approaching two feet of snow.
