The Lake George Central School District broke ground at the site of its new transportation facility on Monday. The ceremony marked the official start of construction. WTEN reports the new facility will replace the district’s existing bus garage, which was built in 1953 and used to serve as an elementary school. According to the district, the old garage has become “unsatisfactory” and no longer meets their needs.
