A Glens Falls Common Council member has announced she will be running for the mayor of Glens Falls. Diana Palmer has been on the common council for seven years representing the 3rd Ward. In her announcement Palmer stated Government should be a partner, supporting and empowering those who build, restore, and invest in Glens Falls. Her opponent will be incumbent Mayor Bill Collins in office since 2022.
