The Moreau town supervisor said all permits for Saratoga Biochar were denied. The town now has 30 days to appeal the decision if they choose to do so. WTEN reports a document from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation said they did not meet standards for an Air State Facility permit, a Solid Waste Facility permit, or a case-specific Beneficial Use Determination.
