The Saratoga County Sheriff shared a message to the community Sunday, following a recent series of online threats that have impacted schools across the Capital Region. Sheriff Michel H. Zurlo’s statement reads, in part, “Instead of reporting an online threat to the police, we’re finding that some people are reposting the threat. While perhaps well-intentioned, this increases our workload exponentially; can have us chasing down leads that don’t need to be chased and take us away from the ones that do.”
