Clifton Park Lawmakers Address Land Buffer Concerns

A week after the developer behind a proposed 24-lot subdivision in western Clifton Park sued the town over the denial of his project by town planners due to concerns pertaining to adequate buffers surrounding agricultural land, lawmakers are seeking to tweak the law regulating the issue. The Daily Gazette reports the Town Board on Monday introduced legislation requiring a minimum 250-foot agricultural buffer between a subdivision or commercial development and an active agricultural operation.
