A 17-year-old Albany High School student is accused of having a pellet gun on campus. Albany Police responded to the school, after a staff member notified them that the gun was found in the student’s book bag during a routine security check. He was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon upon school grounds. He was released to a parental guardian and will appear in Albany City Criminal Court on a later date.
