The investigation into now multiple fires in the village of Broadalbin within two days this week resulted Thursday in a person of interest being taken into custody, reports the Daily Gazette. Firefighters Thursday morning responded to three more fires, one at a Railroad Street warehouse, the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and outside the Adirondack Country Store.
Those fires came two days after fires in the front and back of the Broadalbin First Presbyterian Church.
