Saratoga Springs firefighters responded to a large brush fire on the Northway on Sunday afternoon. WNYT reports gusty winds helped spread the fire through the dry vegetation. There are no fire hydrants on the Northway, so the department relied on a 3,000-gallon tanker truck from the Malta Ridge Volunteer Fire Company.
