Several prescribed fires have been scheduled at Saratoga National Historical Park over the coming weeks. The National Park Service says the areas that will be burned include roughly 60 acres of grass, shrubs, and woodlands along the park tour road. WTEN reports officials say the first burns could happen during the second or third week of April, depending on the weather and site conditions. Due to wind speed, relative humidity, fuel moisture, and other certain parameters that must be met, the days aren’t set in stone.
