Report: Overdoses In Saratoga County Becoming A Challenge To Keep Up With

A captain with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office – whose job is to track drug usage – says he can’t keep up the overwhelming number of overdoses. Captain Dan Morley tells WNYT opioids cause the most overdoses in Saratoga County, followed by heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine. There were 727 overdoses that hit Saratoga County last year. That averages out to almost two overdoses a day. Thirty-nine of them were deadly.
