South Glens Falls Police are accusing 24-year-old Raphael Lopez, of Bronx, N.Y., of attempting to steal used cooking oil from a vat behind a closed business on Saratoga Avenue. On September 13, the business owner says he received an alert while at home from his business’s surveillance camera. He then went to his store and confronted Lopez in the parking lot.
According to police, Lopez was operating a van equipped with a large tank and siphoning equipment.
