The town of Halfmoon has added a four-way stop at the intersection of Woodin and Stone Quarry roads following a study that raised safety concerns. The Daily Gazette reports the town highway department is asking residents to exercise caution as they get used to the new traffic pattern at the intersection. The four-way stop was added following a five-year study by MJ Engineering and Land Surveying. It was determined that because of sight distance concerns and sight limitations at the intersection, a four-way stop was needed.
