State Police of Mayfield arrested 34 year old Matthew L. Belak of Mayfield for Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. On May 12, 2023, at about 2:25 p.m., Troopers received information that an adult man was inappropriately communicating with a child. The investigation determined that Belak allegedly communicated indecently via cell phone with a child under the age of seventeen in April 2023.
