Record High Temp Thursday

The National Weather Service says Albany hit an official high temperature of 99 degrees on Thursday. That beats the previous record of 98 degrees, set in 1955. Around the area Friday, there will be a mix of sun and clouds around with the chance for showers and storms. Some storms may once again produce heavy downpours. It won’t be as hot, but it will still be hot and very humid with highs near 90.
