State Police in Clifton Park arrested 37 year old Panayiotis Menagias of Glenville, for Menacing a Police Officer, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Obstructing Governmental Administration .
Troopers tried to stop Menagias for a speeding violation on State Route 146A in the town of Clifton Park. Menagias failed to comply, and a pursuit ensued. Authorities say Menagias stopped multiple times during the pursuit, exited the vehicle, and menaced the Troopers with a hammer.
