A judge sentenced a town of Day man to more than 34 years in prison. According to WNYT, 45 year old Michael Zakrzewski was sentenced on 13 different counts ranging from kidnapping, to strangulation, to aggravated family offense, after strangling his then girlfriend to the point of unconsciousness on two separate occasions and violating a restraining order.
